In Chinese culture, the number "8" is considered the luckiest number partly because it symbolizes infinity. And with the Beijing Olympics marking China's emergence on the world stage, 2008 will be an auspicious year for the world's most populous nation.

On December 8, 1988, over 300 North American volunteers appeared dressed as Santa Claus at Beijing's Temple of Heaven and in Tiananmen Square. They sang seasonal songs to the bewildered Chinese, most of whom had never heard of Santa. Today, Santa Claus is a household world in China.

Twenty years later, on December 8, 2008, Santas will appear simultaneously in 8 cities throughout the nation and you are invited to join!

You will have your choice of one of the following venue cities:

• Dalian
• Guangzhou
• Hangzhou
• Qingdao
• Fuzhou
• Suzhou
• Wuhan
• Xian

Depart LA/SFO Dec. 4, arrive China destination Dec. 5
Return home Dec. 9

$1288* per person departing from LA/SFO and sharing twin room if deposit of $250 per person is received on or before March 31, 2008.

An optional pre-Santa extension will be available to visit Beijing; and optional post-Santa extension will be available to visit Shanghai and an optional cruise on the Yangtze River will be offered as an extension to the Wuhan Santa tour.
